My Story

I've always loved that fresh cut feeling. Since the age of 10, the barbering experience fascinated me. From the gentle buzzing of the clipper, the poignant smell of of Clubman powder, to the cacophony of conversations humming over the barbershop. It was unlike anything else.

Fast forward 17 years. Now instead of sitting in the chair, I'm behind it. 

Feeling unfulfilled in my recruiting and human resources career, coupled with the covid-19 pandemic, I decided to take the leap of faith into my new venture - barbering. 

I graduated from Tribeca Barber School in December 2021. Here I learned the foundations of mens grooming and proper hygiene. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from SUNY Geneseo in 2019. 

I'm a grooming specialist - well-versed in a diverse range of styles, including classic cuts, tight fades, chiseled beard trims, and hot towel shaves. 

I pride myself in creating a safe, pleasant environment - one that my clients seek great solace in. I cater each haircut to my clients specific wants and desires - ensuring they feel like the best version of themselves. 

I currently work at Long Short Barber Co - a vibrant barbershop shop nestled in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. A stones throw away from the Barclays Center and other NYC landmarks. 

Outside of the shop, you can find me in Greenpoint looking for a game of pickup basketball, trying new food and being a tourist in my own city.
