My Story
I've always loved that fresh cut feeling. For as long as I can remember, the barbering experience fascinated me. From the gentle buzzing of the clipper, to the old school smell of of clubman powder. The cacophony of conversations humming over the barbershop was unlike anything else.
Fast forward over 2 decades. Now instead of sitting in the chair, I'm behind it. Feeling unfulfilled in my corporate career, coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic, I took the leap of faith into my new venture.
After many botched at home haircuts (thank you to my brother), I enrolled in Tribeca Barber School. 500+ hours of instruction and countless haircuts later, I graduated in December 2021. In addition to my barber license, I received my Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from SUNY Geneseo in 2019.
I currently work at Long Short Barber Co - a vibrant barbershop shop nestled in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. A stones throw away from the Barclays Center, Dumbo, and other NYC sights.
Outside of the shop, you can likely find me looking for a game of pickup basketball, writing, or trying to be a tourist in my own city.

A good haircut is more than just the cut. It is everything that goes into the cut, both before, during and after. I want my clients' feeling like the best version of themselves, both inside and out.

I aim to master the fundamentals, keep things simple, and always strive to keep learning. This includes a high quality of service in haircutting techniques, styles and trends. I strive for a high attention to detail and consistency across the full spectrum of service, not just a 20 minute rush job.

I aim to operate with integrity, humility, and honesty. These are the standards I bring to the chair when nobody is watching.
Service Excellence
These are the things that aren't quite seen, but are felt. It should not feel complicated, daunting or stressful. No-frills, No gimmicks. One where people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their look.
