My Story

I've always loved that fresh cut feeling. Since the age of 10, the barbering experience fascinated me. From the gentle buzzing of the clipper to the old school smell of of Clubman powder. The cacophony of conversations humming over the barbershop was unlike anything else.

Fast forward 2 decades. Now instead of sitting in the chair, I'm behind it. 

Feeling unfulfilled in my recruiting and human resources career, coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to take the leap of faith into my new venture - barbering. 

After many botched at home haircuts (thank you to my brother), I decided to enroll in Tribeca Barber School. After over 500 hours of instruction, I graduated in December 2021. In addition to barber school, I received my Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from SUNY Geneseo in 2019. 

I currently work at Long Short Barber Co - a vibrant barbershop shop nestled in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. A stones throw away from the Barclays Center and other NYC landmarks. 

I'm a men's grooming professional, specializing in short to medium hairstyles such as all-scissor cuts, tapers/fades, beard trims, and shaves. 

My goal is to create a safe, pleasant and chill environment - one that my clients seek great solace in.  One that has my clients' feeling like the best version of themselves both inside and out.

Outside of the shop, you can find me in at my home In Greenpoint looking for a game of pickup basketball, blogging, and trying to be a tourist in my own city.
